Under the Big Sky Music Festival Announces 2027 Lineup

It's always interesting to me that summer music festival lineups start coming out in the middle of winter. Of course, organizers have to get those artists booked well in advance.

The folks at Under the Big Sky Music Festival have released their lineup for 2027, and they've got some big names heading to Whitefish next summer.

Zach Bryan, Kacey Musgraves and Nathaniel Rateliff Headline

Zach Bryan is coming back to headline the festival for the third time, while eight-time Grammy Award winner Kacey Musgraves will make her Under the Big Sky debut. Nathaniel Rateliff, who played the festival's first year, is also returning.

The three-day festival takes place at Big Mountain Ranch in Whitefish, with next year's dates set for July 16-18.

Along with live music, the weekend includes rodeo and roundup events, making it a pretty fun way to spend a summer weekend in the mountains of Montana.

What To Know Before Buying Under the Big Sky Tickets

Those headliners are enough to get plenty of people interested, but there's a lot more to the lineup. The full list includes a mix of established artists and up-and-coming performers, with a little something for different musical tastes throughout the weekend.

Tickets won't be available until the festival's presale kicks off Friday, November 6, at 10 a.m. General ticket sales will begin later that afternoon at 2 p.m.

Before you jump in and buy your tickets, check out the full lineup below and start figuring out which artists you want to see at Under the Big Sky in 2027.

LOOK: Montana's Most-Played Pop Song From the Year You Graduated High School

We used Mediabase, a music industry website that tracks real time playlists of over 1,800 radio stations to figure out which pop songs played on Montana radio the most from 2001 to 2023! (No, you're not old. Mediabase just didn't have data from prior to 2001.)

We looked at data from local stations, past and present, that played Top 40, Rhythmic Top 40, Hot Adult Contemporary or Adult Contemporary formats to determine our list.
