Beautiful Summer Spot In Montana Is Among The Best In America
What is Montana's most beautiful place?
Picking one of the most beautiful places in Montana is a tough job.
You've got Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park, The Northern Great Plains, and Paradise Valley just to name a few.
Thankfully it's not up to me to pick the most beautiful place in Montana as the website Cosmopolitan has done that for us.
Now sure we could argue if they got their selection right, but what we can't argue about is just how beautiful this place truly is.
Lake McDonald at Glacier National Park
Every Montanan knows just how beautiful this lake is and a lot of outsiders are starting to realize that as well.
Not only has Cosmopolitan rated it the most beautiful place in Montana, Explorers Away also had it on their list of the 21 clearest lakes in America.

So what did Cosmopolitan have to say about our beautifully clear lake?
As the largest lake in Montana's photogenic Glacier National Park, Lake McDonald spans 10 miles and sinks 472 feet deep. Formed by Ice Age-era glaciers, the lake has a still, reflective surface that provides the perfect mirror for the surrounding mountains. Visitors might even spot a bighorn sheep, elk, or black bear, as they are known to tour the area.
