Who Remembers These Great Beer Commercials In Montana

I am a cord cutter and have been for a long time. The last time I paid for cable TV was all the way back in 2008.

I love not having to sit through commercials when watching TV; however, if commercials today were like the ones we got back in the day, I wouldn't mind so much.

These Ads Aired All Over The Northwest

Rainer Beer, sure it's not as big and popular as, say, Budweiser or Coors, but they have plenty of fans in Montana, and it might be because of the old ads that used to air in the state.

There were even some that were made specifically for Montana residents, name-dropping all sorts of towns stretching from one half of the state to the other.

It made Rainier beer the beer to drink here in the Treasure State.

They Changed The Beer Advertising Game

An ad agency in Seattle back in the 70s is the one responsible for the ads that aired here in Montana and the entire Pacific Northwest.

They were funny and irreverent, and the major breweries at the time were being outsold in our area by Rainier.

It wasn't long after that those big breweries shifted how they pitched their beers to folks, and it was all thanks to some very clever and funny commercials that are sorely missed on today's TVs.

Today Montana is home to some wonderful beer brewed right here; keep reading after the video to see some of the most iconic beers in Montana.
