Granted, saying something is the best is a bit subjective, but with some data gathering, you can make the case for saying something truly is the best.
WalletHub created 5 different categories in which to base their findings when it comes to what cities in America are the best for raising a family, and they are as follows:

- Education and Child Care
- Affordabiltiy
- Socio-Ecomonics
So now that we have the background on how they came up their rankings, where do the two Montana cities that made the list rank, and what two are they?
How Montana Cities Compare in WalletHub’s Family-Friendly Ranking
Ranked as the #51 best city in America to raise a family, we find Billings. Here are their rankings:
- Total Score - 56.24
- Family Fun - 138
- Health and Safety - 155
- Education and Child Care - 43
- Affordabiltiy - 29
- Socio-Ecomonics - 39
That puts Billings ahead of some cities around our parts, like Salt Lake City in Utah at #54 and Cheyenne in Wyoming at #55.
You don't have to go much further down the list either to find the second Montana city, as Missoula is the #63 best city to raise a family. Here are Missoula's rankings:
- Total Score - 55.02
- Family Fun - 92
- Health and Safety - 132
- Education and Child Care - 15
- Affordabiltiy - 88
- Socio-Ecomonics - 80
