Montana Is Home To A Popular December Travel Destination

People have a misconception when it comes to winter in Montana, one that most locals don't try and correct, but our winters really aren't that harsh.

If our winters were really as bad as we try and convince outsiders they are, then a popular travel destination wouldn't have ended up as the second best place in the world to visit in December.

This Resort Won A Family Travel Award

It's not just the summer months that see tourists come to Montana, as we have plenty to attract tourists to our state during the winter.

That's why Good Housekeeping set out to find places all around the world to travel to in the month of December.

Most of the list consists of warm climates, but an exclusive resort landed at #2 on their "Best Places to Visit in December" list, which is a testament to how nice this place is.
