What Is The Recall From Ford For?

USA Today is reporting that Ford has issued a recall for more than a half million F-150's that rolled off the production line in 2014.

In a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, or (NHTSA), they said the recall was

...due to a loss of signal between the transmission output shaft speed sensor and the powertrain control module causing the truck to downshift into first gear no matter how fast the vehicle speed.

You don't need to be a mechanic to know how dangerous and scary that could be if it happened to you while driving.
