Great Falls Fire Department Responds To Multiple Fires

The Great Falls Fire Department stayed busy Monday night into early Tuesday morning.

Crews responded to two separate fires, and one of them resulted in someone being hospitalized.

Warehouse Fire At Hickory Swing Golf Course

The first call came in Monday night at the Hickory Swing Golf Course. When firefighters arrived, they found a warehouse fully engulfed in flames.

The building held golf carts and other equipment, and because the fire was already so large, a second crew was called in to help contain it and keep it from spreading.

The cause of that fire is still being investigated.

When they got there, the hallway was filled with smoke, and additional help was requested right away.

That fire was contained to a single apartment, and crews were able to put it out, but one person inside suffered burns and needed immediate medical attention. They were airlifted to Salt Lake City for treatment.
