What Is With Great Falls Obsession With Fast Food?

I'm not attempting to ruffle any feathers here or call any individuals out on this, but what is the deal with Great Falls residents and their love of fast food? It never fails; no matter the time of day, rain or shine, there seems to always be a lengthy line at fast food joints. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love fast food as much as the next guy, but why does it seem that so many of these restaurants are constantly busy?

I moved back to Montana roughly six years ago, and one of the first things that stuck out to me as I settled into life in Great Falls was the pure number of folks constantly hitting up fast food joints. I've lived in a lot of places and been to many towns in the United States, and in my humble opinion, fast-food restaurants are busier here than just about anywhere I've been. Aside from Chick-fil-A and Whataburger, those places are constantly busy everywhere I've been.

What is the cause of this constant traffic to fast food restaurants? Is it lack of time, lack of money, or convenience? I honestly have no idea. I usually hit up fast food due to lack of time or pure laziness, haha.
