The Most Hated States: Where Does Montana Rank?
Is Montana Really That Lovable?
Stop for a moment and ask yourself this question: do you love living in Montana? Heck, do you even LIKE living here?

Study Reveals Which States Are The Most Hated In America
Recently the website named Zippa detailed a study that was done by Gallup and had information about residents who said their state was the “worst possible state to live in.”
They also looked at population decreases to see if any big changes could prove that a state was "hated."
Finally, they looked at the numbers of residents of one state who said they hate the residents of another state. So how did Montana rank when it comes to the most hated states in America?
Montana's Rank Might Surprise You (In A Good Way)
Honestly, I have to wonder if people even know Montana is a state in America after our low rankings.
Well, maybe low isn't right; maybe it's a good thing people didn't mention us as one of the most hated states; maybe people have gone back to forgetting about Montana.
When it comes to our ranking number, we come in ranked as the 48th most hated state, which means we're also the third least hated state as well.
Only Utah and Colorado are below us; however, as you'll see in the gallery below, people might not hate us, but they do think some of our towns have pretty rude people.
