For years, politicians from both sides of the aisle have been kicking the can down the road when it comes to investing in America's infrastructure.
Millions of people across not just America, but right here in Montana as well, are utilizing outdated and deteriorating structures each and every day.

There are plenty of examples that show the level of failure when it comes to our infrastructure.
Examples like last year, when the Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed, or even this year when a bridge collapsed when a freight train crossed over it in Oregon.
That also doesn't mention the 10 million Americans without access to clean drinking water or the 30 million without access to high-speed internet.
Montana's Infrastructure Priorities
Thanks to bipartisan support from Washington D.C., we saw things like the "Bipartisan Infrastructure Law", which invests $1.2 trillion in transportation and infrastructure.
Or the "Inflation Reduction Act", which will see $369 billion spent on energy production, manufacturing, and reducing carbon emissions.
Finally, the "CHIPS and Science Act" will see $52.7 billion invested to help fund in-country semiconductor research, development, and manufacturing through the year 2027.
While Montana won't see ALL of that money, we did receive $6.1 billion in 2024, but where and how did we spend it all?
