The unfortunate reality of immigration in our country, is that it has been a contentious issue for many decades.

Ronald Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA) in 1986, which gave millions of undocumented immigrants amnesty if they had arrived in America prior to 1982.

That was almost 40 years ago, and we're still kicking the can down the road on immigration reform.
