We Could See These Stores Close Their Doors In Montana.

When it comes to running a business, you can have years of success, then one wrong move and your whole company is having a going-out-of-business sale.

While we never want to see businesses go out of business, especially ones we love to shop at, 2025 could see some pretty big names shutter their doors in Montana.

Big Name Brands Closing in Montana

The shopping habits of people in America have been changing rapidly here in the 21st century.

Online shopping has made it much easier to buy a variety of goods, which has meant plenty of brick-and-mortar businesses have ceased operations.

Recently in Montana, JOANN has shut down their craft and fabrics stores all over the state, affecting the residents of Billings, Butte, Helena, Kalispell, Bozeman, Missoula, and Great Falls.

More Closures Coming This Year

The stores we'll be highlighting in the gallery below are all national chains and big box stores that have indicated that they are going out of business or that they plan to downsize the number of stores they operate.

One way to ensure that all of our locally owned and operated Montana businesses don't suffer the same fates as these brands is to shop local whenever you can.
