Nude Gardening In Montana? Here’s Where It’s Most Popular

Remember that Seinfeld episode where he dated a nudist, and he realized certain activities weren't meant to be done while naked?

Well, that's how I feel about gardening. I feel being naked around sharp tools and lawn equipment will only end badly.

Montana Embraces Naked Gardening

While I might not think gardening while in the nude is a safe idea, plenty of people across Montana and America and even the world take part in it.

In fact, May 3rd was World Naked Gardening Day, showing that people love being naked while digging in the dirt.

So what two Montana towns are the best for being in your birthday suit when planting your garden, according to the website LawnStarter?

How Montana Ranks Nationally for World Naked Gardening Day

Honestly, I figured we'd find some of the least populated cities on the list, because fewer people means fewer prying eyes, but that isn't the case here in Montana.

Missoula ranks as the top city in Montana for gardening in the nude, coming in at 276th place in the United States. I was a bit surprised by this ranking, especially since it holds the #10 spot for Nude Gardener-Friendliness. Despite this, it still ranks higher than the second Montana city on LawnStarter's list.

That city would be Billings, which comes in as the 2nd best in Montana and the 412th best in America.
