These Sandwiches Were First Sold Out Of The Back Of A Wagon

The perfectly named website LoveFood set out to find the best sandwich created in each state, and I don't think anyone under the Big Sky would disagree with what they chose for Montana.

First sold out of the back of a wagon by the inventor, it soon became the "unofficial" sandwich of Montanans.

Even though today there are new owners and cooks, this sandwich is still made using the original recipe. If you don't know what sandwich we're talking about yet, you must be new to Montana.

The Best Sandwich Invented In Montana Is....

As if there was any other choice than a Pork Chop John's when it came to the best sandwich invented in Montana.

Created by a former firefighter living in Butte named John Burklund. It originally came with just mustard, onions, and pickles, which many purists still say is the only way to get it.

Today there are many variations to choose from, and all of them delicious and uniquely Montana.
