Costco’s 2025 Updates: What’s Already Changed?
Costco has already had a few changes take place so far in the year 2025.
One of the biggest changes came earlier this year when Costco extended their gas station hours.
The other noteworthy change is when they changed store hours, allowing those who are executive members to shop an hour earlier Sunday through Friday and a half hour earlier on Saturdays. This felt like an olive branch for those members, as they had their dues increased higher than the gold or business levels.
Costco Food Court Makes A Big Switch
This newest change will be happening in the food court, famous for the long-standing $1.50 hot dog.
It was announced earlier that Costco would be ending their contract with Pepsi, which had been providing drinks for the food court since 2013, and going back to offering Coke, and some stores are starting to see the switch begin.
When Costco first let their intentions to switch from Pepsi to Coke be known, there was no timetable for the change, but some news outlets said it would be fully completed by this fall.
Whether you prefer Pepsi or Coke, I think we can all agree, the only thing that matters is that a hot dog and a drink remain $1.50. If that changes we riot.
