Walmart Closing 22 Stores

Business Insider has reported that Walmart will soon be closing almost two dozen stores in 15 states.

Currently there are 14 Walmart across the Big Sky.

Walmart is a pretty big employer in Montana, as according to their website they employ almost 5000 employees.

Closing even just one store would hurt not only the people that shop there, but those who work there.

Closing a store would also have a far-reaching ripple effect that can really hurt a local economy, especially when you consider how Walmart affects local economies and small businesses when they originally move in.
