Deadly Drive: This Vehicle Leads Montana In Fatal Crashes

In 2023, Montana experienced 203 fatal crashes, and sadly, I think we might exceed that number this year.

So far in 2024, there have been 62 fatal crashes in Montana. Compare that to the 54 fatalities for this same time in 2023, and it doesn't look good.

Making Sense Of The Madness

We aren't trying to say that just by owning one of these vehicles, you'll be involved in a fatal accident.

There are far too many causes and reasons for auto accidents and fatalities, such as distracted driving or speeding, both of which aren't determined by the vehicle being driven.

Still, Auto Justice Attorney Michael T. Gibson wanted to see if there was a trend, so he commissioned a study to see what vehicles were involved in the most accidents, both at the state and national levels.

What Are The Most Deadly Vehicles In America

Michael T. Gibson found that the number one and number two vehicles involved in fatal accidents at the national level are the Chevy Silverado and the Ford F-150.

The car coming in with the third most fatal accidents in America is the Toyota Camry.
