What Montana cities have the highest rape rate in the state?

This is a subject that I'll admit, I might not be the right person to be writing about.

I have never had the fear of walking alone at night and wondering if my safety was at stake.

So it gives me no pleasure to let you know that not one but TWO Montana cities found themselves on a list with the highest rape rate in America.

Missoula, MT

The first city showing up on the list is Missoula, MT.

In the last couple of decades there has been a big spotlight on this college town when it comes to rape.

It was at one time referred to as "America’s rape capital."

Great Falls, MT

The second city on the list, with an even higher rate, is Great Falls.

I think the scariest thing about these statistics is that according to RAINN, the largest anti-sexual assault non-profit, only 310 out of 1,000 sexual assaults are even reported.

That means 2 out of 3 assaults are never even reported.
