After Nearly 30 Years, This Montana Mystery Remains Unsolved

It should come as no surprise to absolutely anyone that Montana is rich with history. Great Falls is even called the "museum capital of Montana" with stories waiting to be heard throughout the area.

But there is one story that remains a mystery and open to speculation... but in my opinion, there are two very possible explanations for what we're seeing.

Who (Or What) Built This Massive Structure in Montana?

One of my favorite things to do is dive down rabbit holes that never end. And never ending, I mean they offer no explanation and/or are a complete mystery - think "Unsolved Mysteries" but not crime-related.

Recently, I wanted to search for a big Montana mystery to get lost in and that's when I stumbled across "Sage Wall" which is located near Whitehall, Montana and maintained by Sage Mountain Center.

Sage Wall is a massive structure that appears to be a literal manmade wall, that according to the page for Sage Mountain Center, is about 275 feet long and 24 feet high and was discovered back in 1996.

Here's where things get interesting; the stones that make up the wall weigh TONS... literally. The largest block on the wall weighs about 91 tons according to Montana Megaliths and the boulders are an estimated 75 million years old.

For comparison, a fully loaded 18-wheeler semi-truck weighs about 40 tons according to a west coast law firm.

So, who or WHAT could have built this massive structure? We're talking about moving and stacking 91-ton boulders without the means or technology that we have today. What could have done that with these boulders? Was it the doings of "ancient aliens" with advanced technology at a primitive time? Could it have been the workings of giants that roamed Montana's lands a long time ago?

How else can you explain the construction of this massive structure? If it's not giants, it has to be aliens... right?
