A Look Back at 2022: Nick Northern’s Top 10 Stories of the Year
2022-Wow, what a year! It is crazy how fast a year goes by once you get a little bit older. It does not seem that all that long ago I was making and breaking my New Year's resolution, and now I am already thinking of new ones to break for 2023.
2022 was a big year professionally for me. One of the biggest professional changes in my life was when we started writing articles. When we began in July, the process of writing regular content was nerve-racking. What would I even write about? What do our followers want to read? And even more dauntingly came the question of once I chose a topic, would anyone care enough to read about it?
Over the past 6 months I have written about a lot of different topics. Yellowstone fashion, Great Falls top Google searches, a virtual tour of the Montana State Fair, a cow with a sinus infection and "Made In Montana" gift ideas.
Behind the scenes, we actually have the ability to see what has worked and what has been less successful when it comes to the articles we write. Not everything we come up with will go "viral" and be an instant success, and it has been a surprise to see what readers have liked and shied away from over these last 6 months.
My hope for the new year is that as I aim to improve my "voice" I continue to bring you fun and exciting articles to read and enjoy. Thanks for reading and make sure to check back daily to see what is new.
